Su 30K Coming to a halt. India purchased 40 Su-30K aircrafts from Russia in 1997 at a price tag of US $ 1.2 billion. About 18 of this class of Aircrafts are now present in IAF with more of the MK standard about to join this year. The final version of the Plane will be called SU-30 MKI where I stands for India. The final deliveries of the plane will be over by 2004 and then HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited ) will produce about 150 of these high tech aircrafts in India at their Nasik Plant.
